A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where were you able to get your pair?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How expensive are they?
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their standard price is over $500.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their level of detail.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. golden goose black sneakers I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Plus, they’re already distressed so your feet just slide in.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
